WELL-WISHER
Once there was a sailor who stuck into an island where he was the only survivor.It was getting dark and there was nothing suitable for him to live in.Somehow or the other he managed to make a hut for his shelter.Days and night passed,he prayed and waited for someone to rescue him but no one came.A little food was left which he stored in the hut for his survival.His hope was turning into gloom.One day while he was busy in his prayer at a little distance from his shelter his hut caught fire and the hut burned to ashes; nothing was left.He was so angry,he said ” God why have you done this to me? “.He left the hope and started thinking that he would be no more in that world in the next few days.The next morning he was sitting at the beach looking at the waves of water as if he had drowned in them.Suddenly he heard the sound of a boat and a wave of gladness arose in him as he saw that it was approaching towards him.Actually they were the rescuers who reached at the island to save him.He took a sigh of relief and asked ” How did you come to know that I was here? ” .They replied ” We saw a smoke signal due to which we are there. Had we not seen the smoke, we would have never been able to save you…,,,,!!! “
